Each color coded section, (Yellow, Blue & Orange) represents the individual owner/better(Y), the team the owner/better is challenging (B), and the prop bet categories (O) as depicted in example above. Any 2 teams can make H2H bets against each other. *Team taxi bets are not allowed in H2H betting. Teams are allowed to make more than one H2H bet in another set against another team simultaneously. ie., Scorpions vs Canabis in set 3 (#7, #8 bets) Team Taxi bets are allowed in all the other categories. Again, multiple bets are allowed by each team against any other teams that agree to wager. There are 10 sets of wagers allowed each week for the Sidebet Matrix so get your challenges into the PARC for confirmation of your wagers before the first game of each week. All challenges pertain to starters ONLY. Bench players will not be considered for scoring. In the event of a tie between the starting positions, the bench points of that particular position player will be tie-breaker.
At the conclusion of each week, the challenges will be calculated and points dispersed to winners. Winners can check the website for updates and payout schedule. Payments will be made through your King of the Hill team accounts. Each team will receive information and the opportunity to obtain a League debit card which will allow easier transactions and transfer of funds. Teams will be able to use this new feature next season to pay their League registration and operation fees.
The Sidebet Matrix is a beta test for the League debit card system. The League Office and PARC are developing innovative ways to expand the League which will create more team management and interaction. Most importantly, these implementations will foster fair competition and reduce disagreements or concerns related to sportsmanship.
As this is a beta test site for the new League debit card system, teams are not required to obtain a card; however it would be beneficial to the growth and expansion of the League. The goal is to expand the League to 24 teams by 2010. This would create 2-distinct Conferences, i.e.,(AFC-NFC) which would be the format for a true King of the Hill Super Bowl. Adding more teams will obviously generate larger purses and sidebets throughout season.
The categories used above will be the standard set of challenges; however, please feel free to introduce any ideas that generate some extra excitement. For example, another prop challenge will be the EndZone Freak. Each week, GM's will have the opportunity to select 1 player from their respective team to participate in a free-for-all challenge. The challenge is simple as the flyer suggest, get in the end zone more than the other players in the challenge and you win the prop challenge and all the points wagered. Again, using League issued debit card will allow teams to participate in this component. Also, be looking forward to other links to other cool sites where League members socialize and compete. Enjoy the rest of the season while earning some extra cash at the expense of your friends.
